President Message

I am honored to serve as the President of the Nepal-Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an organization that has worked tirelessly since its establishment in 2014 to promote economic and cultural ties between Nepal and Italy. As we move forward, our focus will be to strengthen our bilateral trade partnership, expand tourism, and strive to promote both countries’ economic development.

Nepal and Italy have a long history of friendship, which we aim to continue by growing commerce and business between the two countries. To achieve this, we have been collaborating with Nepalese businesses to identify export goods with market potential in Italy. We believe that by offering guidance and assistance, we can help these businesses develop and prosper while also expanding Nepalese exports to Italy.

Aside from trade, Nepal and Italy have huge potential in the tourism sector. Our country is blessed with unparalleled natural beauty and cultural heritage which we wish to share with the rest of the world. We have been working with the Italian travel industry to raise awareness about Nepal’s tourism potential, and we are confident that we will be able to increase the number of Italian visitors visiting Nepal and embracing our culture and traditions.

Lastly, we believe that foreign investment is crucial for Nepal’s economic growth, and we are determined to attract more Italian investors. We understand that investing in a foreign country can be challenging, that is why we are working to create a favorable business environment conducive to investment. We believe that by highlighting the benefits of investing in Nepal and providing the necessary support, we can attract more Italian investors to our country.

I’d also want to take this occasion to thank the Nepal Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s dedicated and professional staff members. We have a team of experienced professionals that bring their expertise and skills to the table and are dedicated to helping us achieve our goals and objectives. I want to thank my team members for their constant support and hard work. They are the backbone of our organization, and without their efforts, we would not have been able to achieve what we have today.
